Hackers are classified into different categories based on their intent of the hacking system. Like the White hat , Black hat, Grey hat, etc.
These terms come from Spaghetti westerns where a good guy wears a white hat and a bad guy wears a black hat.
White hat hackers :
White hat hackers are also known as Ethical Hackers. They never try to harm the system rather they try to find weaknesses in computer or network system as part of vulnerability assessment.
Ethical Hacking is not illegal and one of the best demanding jobs available in the IT industry.
Black hat Hackers :
Black hat hackers are also known as Crackers. They try to harm the system by gaining unauthorized access to the system and harming its operation or stealing sensitive information.
Black hat hacking is always illegal because the intent of Black hat Hacking is bad and that includes stealing sensitive information, unauthorized access to system or network, Blocking communication on internet/network, Damaging system.
Grey hat Hackers :
Grey hat hackers are a combination of both white hat and black hat hackers. They act without malicious intent but for their fun, they exploit security weakness in computer or network without the permission of the owner.
Apart from these three well-known hackers. We have categorized hackers based on their hacking skills and what do they do.
Red hat Hackers :
Red hat hackers are again the combination of both white hat Hacker and black hat Hackers. They are usually on the level of hacking government agencies, top-secret hubs information, generally anything that falls under the category of sensitive information.
Blue hat Hackers :
Blue hat hackers are someone outside computer security consulting firms who is used to bug test a system prior to its launch. They find holes in these systems and try to close these holes so that it can be secured. Microsoft also uses the term Blue hat to represent a series d security briefing events.
Elite hackers :
It is social status among hackers.
Elite hackers are those hackers, who are popular among hackers.
Script kiddie :
A script kiddie is a non-expert who breaks into a computer system by using packages and tools that are created by others.
Neophyte :
A neophyte refers to "n00b" or "newbie" or "Green hat Hackers" is someone who is new to hacking and has experience and knowledge of working in technology and hacking.
Hacktivist :
These hackers utilize technology to announce religious, ideological, social or political messages. In general, most hacktivism involves website defacement or denial-of-service attacks.
In Hindi (हैकर्स के प्रकार?)
हैकर्स को हैकिंग सिस्टम के आशय के आधार पर विभिन्न श्रेणियों में वर्गीकृत किया गया है।जैसे सफेद टोपी, काली टोपी, ग्रे टोपी आदि
स्पेगेटी पश्चिमी देशों से ये शब्द आते हैं जहां अच्छा लड़का सफ़ेद टोपी पहनता है और बुरा आदमी काला टोपी पहनता है|
व्हाइट हैट हैकर्स:
व्हाइट हैट हैकर्स को नैतिक हैकर्स के रूप में भी जाना जाता है।वे प्रणाली को नुकसान पहुंचाने की कोशिश नहीं करते, बल्कि कंप्यूटर या नेटवर्क प्रणाली में कमजोरी महसूस करने की कोशिश करते हैं, जो भेद्यता मूल्यांकन के भाग के रूप में है।
नैतिक हैकिंग गैरकानूनी नहीं है और आईटी उद्योग में सबसे अधिक मांग की जा रही नौकरी है।
ब्लैक हैट हैकर्स:
ब्लैक हैट हैकर्स को पटाखे के रूप में भी जाना जाता हैवे सिस्टम की अप्राधिकृत पहुँच प्राप्त करने और उसके संचालन को नुकसान पहुंचाने या संवेदनशील जानकारी चोरी करके सिस्टम को नुकसान पहुंचाने की कोशिश करते हैं।
ब्लैक हैट हैकिंग हमेशा अवैध होता है क्योंकि ब्लैक हैट हैकिंग का उद्देश्य संवेदनशील सूचना चुराने, सिस्टम या नेटवर्क के लिए अनधिकृत पहुंच, इंटरनेट/नेटवर्क पर संचार अवरुद्ध करने, हानिकारक प्रणाली शामिल है।
ग्रे हैट हैकर्स:
ग्रे हैट हैकर्स सफेद टोपी और काले टोपी हैकर्स दोनों का संयोजन है।वे दुर्भावनापूर्ण इरादे के बिना काम करते हैं परंतु मज़े के कारण कंप्यूटर या नेटवर्क में मालिक की अनुमति के बिना सुरक्षा की कमजोरी का फायदा उठाते हैं।
इसके अलावा तीन प्रसिद्ध हैकर्सहमारे पास श्रेणियों हैकर उनके हैकिंग कौशल और वे क्या करते हैं पर आधारित है।
रेड हैट हैकर्स:
लाल टोपी हैकर फिर सफेद टोपी हैकर और काली टोपी हैकर दोनों का संयोजन कर रहे हैं।वे आम तौर पर संवेदनशील सूचनाओं की श्रेणी में आने वाली सरकारी एजेंसियों, सर्वोच्च गुप्त केन्द्रों की सूचना के स्तर पर होते हैं।
ब्लू हैट हैकर्स:
ब्लू हैट हैकर्स, कंप्यूटर सुरक्षा परामर्श कंपनी के बाहर कोई ऐसा व्यक्ति है जो लॉन्च से पहले सिस्टम को बग परीक्षण में प्रयुक्त होता है।उन्हें इन प्रणालियों में छेद मिलते हैं और इन छेदों को बंद करने की कोशिश करते हैं ताकि यह सुरक्षित हो सके।माइक्रोसॉफ्ट श्रेणी डी सुरक्षा ब्रीफिंग की घटनाओं को प्रदर्शित करने के लिए ब्लू हैट शब्द का प्रयोग करता है।
एलइट हैकर्स:
यह हैकर्स के बीच सामाजिक स्थिति है।
एलइट हैकर वे हैकर हैं, जो हैकर्स के बीच लोकप्रिय हैं।
स्क्रिप्ट किडि :
स्क्रिप्ट किडी एक गैर विशेषज्ञ है जो दूसरों द्वारा बनाए गए पैकेज और टूल्स का उपयोग करके कंप्यूटर सिस्टम को तोड़ता है।
नवोद्भिद:
एक नवोचित्र "n00b" या "नौसिखिया" या "ग्रीन हैट हेकर्स" को संदर्भित करता है, वह ऐसा व्यक्ति है जो तकनीक और हैकिंग में कार्य करने का अनुभव और ज्ञान रखता है।
हैक्टिविस्ट:
ये हैकर्स धार्मिक, वैचारिक, सामाजिक या राजनीतिक संदेश की घोषणा करने के लिए प्रौद्योगिकी का उपयोग करते हैं।आम तौर पर ज़्यादातर हैक्टिविज़्म में वेबसाइट का ढांचा हटाना या सेवाओं पर हमले करना शामिल है.
